How to Lose Your Sanity in Ten Minutes or Less

Try to wrangle three children under five into a semi-decent picture pose. Trust me, it's buckets of fun.

My brother, sister-in-law, and nephew are here visiting from Florida. They leave tomorrow to go home, and I am none too pleased about it. I'm thinking about letting my youngest play with their keys, because he NEVER loses things.

Today, we took all three boys to the Georgia Aquarium. I don't know who was more upset that the beluga whale attraction was under construction, me or my kids (just kidding, IT WAS ME - they're my favorite). The boys had a great time, and we (the parents) were appropriately worn out.

I hope everyone has a lovely weekend! I promise oodles of fun next week, and I'll have a few award thank-you's to say as well.

  1. So if giving your keys to your son is a tactic in keeping guests at your house, what do you do to get rid of unwanted guests? (Feed them to the beluga whales?)

  2. I love aquariums! It sounds fun even if the beluga whales weren't there. I know all about trying to get 3 kids under 5 to pose for pictures--not fun!

  3. I really want to go to that aquarium. Next time when we're in Atlanta. We loved going to the Tennessee aquarium in Chattanooga when we lived there. Watching the fish is so relaxing to me.

  4. You made me smile. What a fun time that must have been. All my family live away except for my parents, so I know exactly what you mean....sigh....Sounds like you had a good time!

  5. Bummer about the balugas! Trying to get one child to stay still for a picture is tough enough. Hard to imagine three!
