I mean, I did get out of bed...when I absolutely HAD to. My sweet husband had the day off and took the boys to the gym this morning so I could get some extra sleep (collective "awww"). Then we had some lunch with my father-in-law who is visiting from Florida.
After lunch, we came home and I took a LOOONG nap with the boys. It was one of those naps where you fall asleep so deep you wake up not knowing what time it is, or even what DAY it is! I dragged myself out of bed again to get dressed and get to my women's bible study (we are still studying this book, and I just have to tell you again how fantastic it is!).
Needless to say, I can't fall asleep tonight. It's 11:43pm and I'm still awake, which should definitely make for an interesting tomorrow.
What do you do when you can't sleep?
Oh I hate when that happens. I woke up really early this morning and couldn't fall back asleep, so I just read! Most of the time I write, but since I haven't started my next book yet, I had the pleasure of a good book.
ReplyDeleteI loved that book. Yancey is one of my favorite authors. I count sheep. :D Kidding. I pray. I figure God has me up for a reason.

I don't mind it when I can't sleep. (At least until I'm a walking zombie the next day.) I usually read, write, or blog.
ReplyDeleteI had a certain blanket that when I took a nap with it could not get up. I would keep trying and dreaming that I was getting up but would fall right back to sleep!
ReplyDeleteI really hate when this happens. Usually, I just end up getting up...reading, writing, blogging - something. Otherwise I just lay in bed getting very annoyed, and that never helps anything. :)
