What A Difference A Day Makes

So, as you may know (since I've been beating you over the head with it for the last two weeks), I got to go to the South Carolina Writer's Conference this past weekend. And while I learned A TON about the craft of writing and the publishing business (all of which I will tell you about on Wednesday when my brain stops hurting), what I really wanted to say is...I MISSED MY KIDS.

And THAT, my friends, is the conclusion a mother comes to after TWO WHOLE NIGHTS of uninterrupted sleep.

  1. Now you're so rested, you don't know what to so with yourself, right? :0)

Can't wait to hear more about it...!

  3. You probably had too much sleep and your body didn't know what to do with itself. Glad you're home! :O)

  6. Lol, I didn't miss mine until around day three of RWA. I think the sleep was just too seductive. But then I REALLY missed him once it hit me. :)

  8. Ah. Kids. They have a funny way of giving you a hard time. Sometimes by their presence and other times by their absence. I'm glad you learned tons.

  9. It's such a catch twenty-two, isn't it? Those times I most need a break from my girls, and take one, it's just a few hours later that I feel so guilty for leaving and miss them terribly.

Can't wait to hear more about your conference!

  11. Aww, a true Mommy heart! But you have to let all the info just sit for a while and then start sorting what you learned. Oh, and the sleep? lol....
